METAL LIVE: Darkness Reborn - Dimmu Borgir & Enslaved Review

Dimmu Borgir is one of my favorite black metal bands. I don't really listen to black metal bands a lot, but Dimmu Borgir's music is so great. Finally, I can see their live in real. I was super excited that they came to Minnesota!
今年终于盼到Dimmu Borgir来明州演出了。DM是我喜爱为数不多的黑金属乐队之一。随DM巡演的还有2支同样来自挪威的Enslaved和Blood Red Throne，以及来自美国加州的Dawn of Ashes。
It's my first time came to Cabooze. Inside of the bar has a pretty long and narrow space like a big RV bus, but it's much bigger than a RV bus. In the summer, near by the parking lot, there was an empty place for outside shows.
我头一次在Cabooze看演出，Cabooze是一个长条条的演出活动酒吧，到了夏天，还可以在酒吧旁边的停车场看露天演出。
The winter in Minnesota was freaking cold. The temperature is similar as my hometown Harbin. The temperature was probably -4°F there. I came out of the car felt frozen quickly. Then I had to came back into the car and waitied the door open. I really admire these metalheads in Minnesota. Many of them just wore shorts and shirts waiting outside. I heard about white people's body temperature is a little higher than Asian's temperature. Asian normal body temperature is between 36°C to 37°C, and white people normal temperature is 37°C. Therefore, they are not so afraid of cold. And we are going to see bands from Norway. Norway is much colder than Minnesota!
明州的冬天非常冷，估计当时气温有零下二十多度了，我从车里钻出来站了一分钟又钻回车里。我好佩服这帮人大冷的天儿还穿T恤和短裤……不过据说白人体温比亚洲人高一些，所以抗寒能力很强。挪威可比这边冷多了。
The first thing I did was bought a Dimmu Borgir's female shirt when I came inside. It's $25. It's rare to find female metal shirts.
进去二话不说买了件DM的女款T恤，25刀。
There was a super long bar table inside of the super long bar.

Dawn of Ashes played industrial and electric metal style. Right now they play melodic black metal style. I don't really like their music. I think European people can play much better in black metal. but their performance is pretty cool, very gruesome and I felt like having a Halloween party.

来自美国加州的Dawn of Ashes以前风格是工业电子金属，现在风格是旋律黑金属。现场表演的也是旋律黑。我不是很喜欢这个乐队~ 不过服装与道具弄得挺好，不错的万圣节装扮~ 个人评分——5/10

The sate set on the middle of the bar. So many metalheads wore Dimmu Borgir's shirt. I wore Decapitated shirt.
这是演出的舞台，位居酒吧中间。好多人穿着DM的T恤，我那天穿的是上次看演出买来的DecapitatedT恤。
The second band Blood Red Throne from Norway. They play old school death metal, but they dressed like a black metal band. They played pretty well.

第二支乐队来自挪威的Blood Red Throne。风格很硬朗，走old school death metal路线。 个人评分——7.8/10

The next band is Enslaved. There were so many Enslaved fans. I didn't listen to viking metal a lot. I know they are a popular band. I like their performance.

They set up the stage for a while before Dimmu Borgir's performance. They lighted some incenses to made the stage very foggy (smell like Tibetan incenses).

Dimmu Borgir出场之前，舞台布置了大半天，还点了好几根闻香（像是西藏的闻香），顷刻间舞台周围雾气环绕。 个人评分——10/10

The guitarist Galder had a very dramatic expression. He spitted water from his mouth to the audience. I standed pretty close to the stage and he spitted on my face as well :(
吉他Galder表演的时候表情特别丰富~ 还喜欢在观众面前喷水（嘴里猛灌一口水然后喷向观众）。
Galder was good at lead the audience.
People in Minnesota love drinking.
明州人超爱喝酒了，很多拿着酒瓶子晃悠的人，我旁边的就是一个。

I stood at very front of the stage. Unfortunately, there were 2 big guys stood around me. One guy banged his head pretty heavy, his hair was like a super fast fan. Another guy held 2 bottles of beer. He threatend the guy stood right side of me away when Enslaved played (He yelled, "I got beer you mother fucker, let me in!" I thought he was too drunk). He smelt bad too. I still insisted stood on my perfect spot.
看DM演出太辛苦了，尤其是站在前排，总有人挤来挤去的。很不幸的是那天站在我两边的都是胖子，左边的胖子甩头方式跟正常人两样，他脑袋像电风扇一样狂甩，甩得我心烦意乱的；右边的胖子捧着两罐啤酒在看Enslaved表演时硬把我右边的人给威胁下去的（边说边挤:"I got beer you mother fucker let me in."估计是喝高了），他浑身散发着酒臭味与汗味，为了占据有利地形我忍了，回到家第一件事就是洗澡。
Druing the break of the show, a Latino punk looking guy packed to me from the middle. He took over my spot. I tried to stood away from punk guys, I don't like them, most of them have no manners. That punk guy always pushed people, it's really annoying. Dimmu Borgir is too famous, therefore, all kinds of people came to see their show. I saw a cute girl with a Totoro bagpack in the crowd. That's very interesting to me.
DM表演中途短暂休息时，一个墨西哥朋克脑袋从中间挤到我这边来，想占领我的前排位置，把手搭在我旁边的栏杆，我赶快把位置让给墨西哥朋克，朋克牛X谁敢惹。那朋克一直都在胡乱推人，很令人讨厌。哎，DM太出名没办法，各路人都喜欢这支乐队，所以林子大了啥鸟都有，还有一个人背着龙猫的背包来看DM的表演，太搞了。
Shagrath changed a black shirt and sang many great old songs. The audience went insane. People pushed me a little far from the stage. I brought 2 camera, one's memery was full, another one out of battery.
Shagrath换了一件黑衣裳重返舞台献上他们脍炙人口的老歌。现场气氛更加热烈了，站在第3排的我最后拍了几张照片，2个相机一个拍没电一个拍满了。
At last, Dimmu Borgir threw 3 picks to the audience. Someone hit my camera's cover off on the ground. I was looking for the camera's cover and I saw one pick on the ground. Unfortunately, that damn punk guy picked it up super fast. That just made me hate punk guys more. I had some bad experience with Chinese punks in China. I couldn't believe punks here were mean as well.
I have to try to stay away of big fat guys and punks everytime I go to see metal shows. Everyone else was super nice. They held up people fell down during the mosh pit all the time.
最后DM扔了3个拨片，不知道是谁把我的镜头盖碰掉了，我低头找镜头盖，正好也看到了那个拨片，可是那个该死的朋克看我蹲着找东西他也蹲着找，他手快把拨片捡走了。我恨死那朋克了，一直对国内的朋克没有好印象，没想到国外的朋克也那么令人讨厌。 下次看演出，一定要小心胖子和朋克，尤其是朋克，除了这两类人，其他人看演出时都很文明友善，moshing的时候有人摔倒了大家伙都扶他起来。
I was still very happy during Dimmu Borgir's concert. Dimmu Borgir didn't let their olf fans down. Even they became a commercial band, they still play freaking good quality's music!
这次看演出还是很开心的。DM没有让他的忠实粉丝们失望，虽然他们越来越商业化，但是音乐质量丝毫不马虎，仍然是一流水品，并不因为他们的出名而令音乐变质。
