METAL LIVE: Fear Factory Review

Location: Whisky A Go Go

Line-up: Fear Factory, Soulbleed, Grimefield, Darwen's Theory, Fused By Defiance, The Mendenhall Experiment

It's been 12 years since I knew about Fear Factory from the first Chinese metal music magazine Painkiller. I sacrificed the time of doing homework and went to saw their concert. After the show, I went back home and finished my homework.

Fused By Defiance sounds like Rage Against the Machine. They sang Rage Against the Machine for the last song. Great performance!

Soulbleed reminded me of Meshuggah. Especially the bass.

It's my second time saw Fear Factory's live. I love metal bands with heavy bass and drum sounds. It makes the music super heavy with great energies that always blow my mind.

A photo with Dying Fetus shirt. I love Dying Fetus!

It's my first time got something during the metal show. 2 picks from Fear Factory. I gave one to a metalhead friend.

 Who Am I ?

I'm Sophie. There is a nerdy metalhead inside of me although I don't look like it. I don't like to drink, smoke or put makeup on to try to impress people. I love loud music and I have a huge passion for METAL.

When I was 18, I was interested in making websites. Therefore, I made a personal metal website called DyingLight that existed for 4 years. I putted many things related with METAL on the site. Right now, I changed DyingLight as a personal metal blog to record my favorite metal bands, metal lives and metal festivals I went, my metal collections and my old DyingLight stuff.
