Florida death metal is always my favorite cup of tea. I tried so hard to find someone to see this concert with me since death metal is only belong to small groups of people.
I just saw Hate Eternal and Deicide. The vocalist and guitarist of Hate Eternal Erik Rutan played for Morbid Angel before. I can felt a little Morbid Angel influrance from some of their songs. I love the sharp and twisted guitar solos combined with low and fast drum which is just so unique to me for Florica style of death metal. That's why I love Morbid Angel so much. I was so amazed that only 3 guys created these powerful sounds!
Deicide performance was so amazing. I love the vocalist Glen Benton's dense, low-pitched and rumbling voice. They played super heavy sounds with thick and multiple layers of music that filled all over the theatre. They brought big joys to everyone in this concert. It was a crazy live! I noticed that most people who like 90's death metal are very nice. They don't try to beat or hurt people during the mosh pit, unlike deathcore bands or newer death metal bands' concerts. I think death metal is the most powerful music ever!
