METAL LIVE: AFTERSHOCK Festival

Location: Discovery Park

Ticket: $105.15 (Plus fee and tax) + $30 (premium parking)

I drove 5 hours just for Tool and Primus on Saturday. It's a rock and metal mixed concert. It was really fun. People seem much nicer. I like the park and the food was great.

That's the gate to the park.

I was excited that Motionless In White recovered Rammstein's song Du Hast.

I listen to some rock bands as well like The Pretty Reckless. Taylor Momsen has an amazing voice! No wonder she chose to be a musician instead of acting and modeling although she's very pretty and tall.

It's my second time see Meshuggah's concert. The first time was in the theatre. They had a great performance at open space as well!

Primus is a really unique and special rock band. I love the bass so much!

Tool's stage design was so amazing! They had a great performance. I was searching for the vocal Maynard James Keenan for awhile on the stage. After they played few songs, I found him at very back of the stage near by the drummer lol. I can't believe he is 52 years old and still sounds the same!

It really worth to drove 5 hours for Aftershock Festival. Everyone had a great time there.

 Who Am I ?

I'm Sophie. There is a nerdy metalhead inside of me although I don't look like it. I don't like to drink, smoke or put makeup on to try to impress people. I love loud music and I have a huge passion for METAL.

When I was 18, I was interested in making websites. Therefore, I made a personal metal website called DyingLight that existed for 4 years. I putted many things related with METAL on the site. Right now, I changed DyingLight as a personal metal blog to record my favorite metal bands, metal lives and metal festivals I went, my metal collections and my old DyingLight stuff.
