METAL LIVE: Nekrogoblikon, Allegaeon, Lorna shore, Entheos

Location: Chain Reaction, Anaheim, CA

Line-up:

Ticket: $15 + $7.15 fee

I got a cold when I went to this concert. I felt low energy and didn't stay until Rings of Saturn play. At least I saw them once before. I hope I didn't make anyone sick over there.

Also I went to this concert especially for Allegaeon. They become one of my favorite bands since I listened to their album Elements of the Infinite. Another newer album Proponent for Sentience is great too. I'm glad America has a great melodic death metal band with their own style beside Swedish bands. Both guitarists are pretty good. I enjoyed their solos. Mike Stancel played with a Kiesel guitar, Greg Goroth used a Carillion guitar.

Entheos was a good surprise for me. They play my favorite metal genre technical death metal and very creative. No wonder why their music is good once I searched about this band that the members from ex members of Animals as Leaders, Animosity and The Faceless. Also they got a female vocalist which can get them more attentions.

Nekrogoblikon is a very unique death metal band. Their performance made me laugh. They are pretty great! I got their bears shirt.

Lorna Shore's performance was getting much better than the first time I saw their four years ago. I like the guitarist. He played with an Ibanez guitar. That's the next guitar I want to get!

 Who Am I ?

I'm Sophie. There is a nerdy metalhead inside of me although I don't look like it. I don't like to drink, smoke or put makeup on to try to impress people. I love loud music and I have a huge passion for METAL.

When I was 18, I was interested in making websites. Therefore, I made a personal metal website called DyingLight that existed for 4 years. I putted many things related with METAL on the site. Right now, I changed DyingLight as a personal metal blog to record my favorite metal bands, metal lives and metal festivals I went, my metal collections and my old DyingLight stuff.
