I've seen After the Burial on Summer Slaughter once, but I didn't know them well until I heard of their popular song Eclipse again somewhere. I have a strong connection with this song for some reason. I can't stop repeating playing the song over and over for over a year. I was so excited to saw the live version which was really amazing.
It's my third time saw The Acacia Strain's concert. Their concert was always fun with great energies. I used to like them, but I get bored easily with metalcore bands.
I love Erra's album "Augment" soooo much. That's one of my favorite albums which I listened a lot. One thing I don't like is the emo vocal, that vocal just sounds like complaining to me (kind of girly) which ruin the music. I really wish they only have death metal vocal in their music, but the emo vocalist Jesse Cash plays the best guitar solos in the band!
I really like Make Them Suffer's album "Worlds Apart". I listened this album a lot as well, but I was kind of disappointed of their performance. I couldn't hear their clear guitar riffs well which is my favorite part of their music. The whole concert just has so much noice.Maybe it's the audio engineer's fault. I have no idea. Their live music was just so different compare with their recorded album. I know it's hard to play metal in live. I don't expect they play exactly the same as the recording, but their live just have so many noises and hard to hear the best parts. The vocalist was not so good in live as well. I hope their live performance can improve better. They have so many good songs!
